How to unlock Mark of the Survivor camo in MW3 and Warzone | ONE Esports

The Mark of the Survivor camo is a prestigious reward in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

This animated camo features an electrifying design with a vibrant red that crackles like lightning across your weapon.

To acquire it, you must complete the grueling Unstable Rift challenge in MW3 Zombies.

Here’s a ONE Esports guide to conquering this challenge so you can add the Mark of the Survivor camo to your arsenal.

The Mark of the Survivor is unlocked by completing the perilous Unstable Rift, a hidden realm within MW3 Zombies. Although it is possible to achieve this solo, it is strongly advised to tackle it with a squad for the best chance of success.

To access the rift, you need to locate and activate three obelisks scattered throughout the map. These obelisks appear randomly, so keep your eyes peeled.

Each obelisk displays a symbol that represents a specific ammo mod to activate it: Skull (Brain Rot), Snowflake (Cryo Freeze), Lightning Bolt (Dead Wire), or Fire (Napalm Burst).

Equip a weapon compatible with the indicated ammo mod. Approach the obelisk and interact with it to activate.

Once activated, eliminate zombies within the circular indicator while using the matching ammo mod. As you defeat zombies, the obelisk will fill up with a swirling energy and explode when fully charged, dropping a reward rift.

Repeat the process for the remaining two obelisks. Obelisk completion is universal across the lobby. If another team completes an obelisk, it contributes to your goal.

After you clear three obelisks, the Unstable Rift portal will appear somewhere on the map, marked by a red circular symbol.

However, the rift is accessible to everyone, meaning other teams can also enter it. Therefore, you must swiftly find the portal and move quickly to reach it first.

Once you locate the rift, interact with it. Entry requires a team vote to proceed.

The Unstable Rift then throws you into a separate arena where you need to survive five brutal waves of increasingly difficult zombies. You’ll be given 45 minutes to clear the rift.

Communication, teamwork, and strategic weapon choices are crucial for survival. Focus on taking down the special high-value targets that spawn at the end of each wave.

If your team successfully overcomes all five waves and extracts from the rift, you’ll be rewarded with the coveted Mark of the Survivor camo.
