Shaquille O’Neal loves the Cowboys, but he doesn't mind poking fun at their owner Jerry Jones. He recently joked about Jerry's $8 billion team and his $28.1 million mansion in Texas on the web. Shaq even suggested that Jerry should fire Mike McCarthy and hire Deion Sanders as the new head coach. Shaq is a basketball legend and a Cowboys fan, but he also has a sense of humor.

That's not all, once Shaq pulled a wild prank on national TV when he called the Cowboys’ biggest hater with a fake name, Tex Johnson. He tried to fool him with his banter, but he soon got caught and hung up. It was a hilarious stunt by the NBA legend.

Once, on a live call show, a mysterious Cowboys fan named ‘Tex Johnson’ challenged Stephen A. Smith to take off his cowboy hat and stop mocking the Cowboys. But the host soon realized that it was none other than Shaquille O’Neal, the NBA legend and current analyst, who was trying to prank him.

Shaq on call conspiracy, "Yeah, first of all, you gotta take that damn Cowboy hat off and stop talking about the damn Cowboys, you understand me, son." Stephen sensed something was wrong and asked if it was Shaq, Shaq replied- "My name is Tex Johnson, sir." While Stephen said, "Hell no, this is you isn't it Shaq? Yes, it is. Oh, hell no. I can't believe you."

Smith called out Shaq's name and Shaq quickly hung up, leaving Smith both amused and annoyed by the hilarious prank. And, recently, Shaq had some fun at the expense of the Cowboys on Instagram.

The NBA legend posted a reel of Jerry Jones and his players dancing around instead of training. He captioned it "Cowboys training camp be like," and mocked their lack of seriousness. Shaq loves to tease the team and the owner with his jokes. He couldn't stand the Cowboys’ poor performance and irresponsibility in the wild-card round. He wanted a change, and had a name in mind: Deion Sanders.

Shaq believed that Sanders would not let such a defeat slide. He would make the players accountable and improve the team. Shaq is a longtime fan of the Cowboys who likes to bet and joke about them. He also believes in their chances to do well this season.
