Atomic Heart players who don't know how to use Shock can find help here.

Atomic Heart is a popular action role-playing game that offers plenty of abilities for the players to unlock and get on with the combat. Shock or Shok is one of the most powerful abilities in Atomic Heart that helps players fight off deadly enemies and get through the game.

However, many players might not know how to command the polymeric ability in Atomic Heart. Therefore, the following guide will show players how to use the Shok ability in Atomic Heart.

As useful as the Shock ability is in the game, it is even easier to use it. All it needs is the push of a button to fire lightning at the target. It does not consume energy or use ammo, making it one of the best polymeric abilities in Atomic Heart.

Even though using the Shock ability is quite straightforward, players should be cautious about the button they are pressing. Of course, the buttons or keybindings vary from platform to platform.

Windows PC players can use the Shock ability by aiming first and then pressing the V button. As soon as players press the button, the Charles glove will fire a bolt of lightning at the selected target.

Just like that, players using Xbox will have to aim first. Next, they should locate the Y button on their controller and press it to launch the Shock attack.

As far as PS5 and PS4 are concerned, they require gamers to aim first and press the Triangle button to activate Shock.

Once activated, players can use the Shock ability for multiple purposes, including unlocking the Mag-locks and activating or deactivating the machinery. What's more? Players can even use it to disable the security cameras for a short time.

Shock is not known for its combat capabilities, but it can be used to stagger robots. Thus, it gets easier for the players to kill the robotic enemies with follow-up attacks once they are down. Just like that, it can help players get rid of an opponent with low HP. It doesn't inflict serious damage but can be a handy secondary weapon. Players can even use Shock to heal their character after they have confronted a bunch of monsters. As mentioned earlier, Shock doesn't use ammo, so players can use it to save ammo in critical situations.

Atomic Heart is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
