Meet Kawasaki's fastest Mule yet

Kawasaki is adding three models to its 2024 lineup of Mule UTVs: the Mule Pro-FX 1000, Mule Pro-FXR 1000, and Mule Pro-FXT 1000.

These new models run on a larger displacement 999cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel-twin engine, making for Kawasaki's fastest Mule UTV ever. The CVT transmission can change between 2WD and 4WD, enabled by a switch on the dashboard.

The UTVs’ wide-body chassis allows room for three adults to comfortably sit side-by-side with room for six passengers in the Mule Pro-FXT 1000.

The new Mules have higher ground clearance than previous models, ranging from 11.6 inches to 12.5-inches on the Mule Pro-FXT 1000, 11.8 to 11.9-inches on the Mule Pro-FX 1000, and 12.2 to 13.2-inches on the Mule Pro-FXR 1000.

They also make use of long-travel, double-wishbone suspension, with 10.9 inches of wheel travel on the front, and 10 inches on the back. Certain models feature a new self-leveling suspension system to keep the vehicle stable under heavy load.

The Pro-FX and Pro-FXT models are equipped with 26-inch tires mounted to 12-inch rims, while the Pro-FXR is equipped with 27-inch bias-ply tires.

The UTVs have a nearly 8 gallon fuel tank and improved maintenance access with easier accessible oil filter, oil dipstick, and air filter.

All models in this line have 1,000 pounds of cargo capacity, while the FXT will have 350 pounds of capacity when configured for six-passenger mode.

Kawasaki is rolling out premium versions of the Mule line with a more aggressive appearance, special high end paint, and unique emblems on the body. Both Pro-FXT 1000 LE Ranch and Pro-FXT 1000 Platinum Ranch editions include a WARN VRX 45 winch with 50 feet of durable, aircraft-grade .25-inch steel rope, with a 4,500 pound capacity.

Other features on the Platinum edition include interior upgrades like a soft seat leatherette, embroidered logos, shoulder guards, rear grab bar, and a premium rearview mirror.
