It can be used to measure non-corrosive gases such as natural gas, city gas,propane, nitrogen, and industrial inert gas .Mainly used in gas commercial settlement of catering, hotel and other industries, gas distribution of gasdistribution pipelines, gas pressure regulating station measurement station measurement, industrial and civilboilers, etc., can also be used as standard flowmeters.

Working principle:
The gas Roots flowmeter is a volumetric flow meter. When the gas passes through the flow meter , the pressure differential created between the inlet and the outlet acts on a pair of waist wheels that are coupled to the high precision synchronizing gear to drive the waist wheel to rotate. During this period, the airtight space formed between the waist wheel and the inner wall of the casing and the gland is inflated and vented periodically. The rotation speed of the waist wheel is proportional to the volume of the gas passing through the flow meter, and the rotation of the waist wheel is transmitted to the mechanical counter or the output flow pulse signal through the magnetic coupler, thereby accumulating the volume of the flow through the metering chamber for metering purposes.
